Uniondale, NY - The men's baseball team dropped a non conference decision to Molloy College this afternoon by a score of 14-4.
Nyack would hold a 4-1 lead heading into the bottom of the 4th, but the Lions would plate 5 runs in each of the next two frames to take a commanding 11-4 lead of the game. Molloy would bring in 2 more in the 7th and 1 in the 8th on the way to the win.
A bright spot in the loss came for senior John Kennedy, who collected his 200th hit in the losing effort. The redshirt senior has received multiple accolades throughout his Nyack career, being selected as ALL-CACC three times and all-region twice. Kennedy would finish the day 3 for 4 with a stolen base.
Nyack returns to action this Saturday when they take on Chestnut Hill College in a CACC DH in their home opener at Provident Bank Park. First pitch is set for 12 PM.
