Nyack, NY - The Nyack College baseball team split with the Philadelphia University Rams in a CACC doubleheader played at the Palisades Credit Union Park on Thursday afternoon. The Warriors took the time in between games to thank their 2017 senior class for all their hard work and effort.
But the Rams would jump back ahead in the thop of the fifth, when they scored off a single to left field. Again, the Warriors answered right away scoring a run of their own in the bottom of the fifth. Yoni Rodriguez scored after Carlos Pino grounded out to the Rams' shortstop.
The Rams would score two more times in the top of the sixth to earn a two-run lead, which ended up being enough to take the W in game one.
