Nyack Baseball Falls to Pace University in Non-Conference Game

The Nyack College Warriors Baseball team played against Pace University in a non conference home game, losing 7-2.

The Warriors started off the scoring in the first inning with a sacrifice fly out to center field by Austin Fischer bringing home Yoni Rodriguez. Pace put themselves on the scoreboard in the top of the 4th inning on a double to left center bringing home 2 RBIs. The setters then scored 2 more runs in the 5th inning and another run in the 7th, making the score 5-1 Pace. In the 7th inning, Alber Pichardo grounded out to short stop bringing home Herman Alvarado scoring their last run of the game. Pace then scored a run in the 8th inning and a run in the 9th inning, both on single hits ending the game 7-2.

The Warriors will compete against Domincan College in a home conference double header on Wednesday April 24th at 3 and 6PM, held at the Palisades Credit Union Park.
