Baseball Gets Rained Out Against Pace University Losing 6-0

The Nyack College baseball team competed in an away non conference game against Pace University. This game got rained out at 7 innnings with a final score of 6-0 and a loss for the Warriors. 

Scoring began in the first inning when the opposing team singled to right field bringing in their first run and putting themselves on the scoreboard. Pace was able to score 5 more runs after their first all throughout the rest of the innings played. The Warriors were unable to put themselves on the scoreboard at all this game and at the top of the 7th inning the game got called due to rain robbing the Warriors of their chance to get on the scoreboard. The Warriors had 21 at bats and only 4 hits recorded along with 8 strikeouts, contributing to their loss. 

Up Next: The Nyack College baseball team will compete in games over Spring Break in Florida, but will face off in a two-day double header against Southern New Hampshire upon their return on Friday, March 13th at 12 and 3PM and Saturday March 14th at 12 and 3PM.
