Coach Davida enters his second season at the helmet of the Warriors program. Davida comes to the Warriors from his position as the Pace Baseball assistant Coach, which was just the latest chapter in Coach Davida’s storied baseball career. Coach Davida has been a key contributor to the Doyle Baseball Academy as the Lead Instructor and has also served as a head coach at Concordia College and an assistant coach at Fordham University. Coach Davida has also served as an assistantat at Columbia University and most recently at Pace where he has been for the last 10 seasons under Head Coach Hank Manning. 

Davida has held regional scouting, player development and special assignment positions with the Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers. During his professional experience Davida has worked for and with Denny Doyle, Jack McKeon, Bobby Fontaine JR., Sandy Johnson as well as with Collegiate veterans in Paul Fernandes(Columbia Univ), Dan Gallagher(Fordham Univ) and Fred Calaicone(Pace Univ). 

In 2019 Davida led the Warriors to 18-29-1 overall and a 14-18 conference record which saw them finish third in the CACC North Division. The 2019 season came to an end with a 14-3 loss in the CACC quarterfinals to South Division secon place Wilmington University Wildcats.
 
Coach Davida has recruited and trained 30+ players that have signed professional baseball contracts, 4 All-Ivy League, 8 All NE-10 Conference and 3 Academic All-Americans. 

Growing up in Williamsburg Section of Brooklyn, Davida then attended Yonkers HS, graduated from Concordia College and continued studies in Historic Preservation  at Drew University.

Married to Linda Lee Petersen (Concordia ‘78), Daughters Nicole Davida-Wiggins & Kristie Davida.. Son-In-Law Charlie Wiggins IV,    Grandsons Charlie Wiggins V &  Ulysses S. Wiggins.
