Warriors Defeated by Bloomfield College 75-61

Warriors 2nd half rally not enough as they fall to Bloomfield on Tuesday night at home

Nyack, NY-- On Tuesday evening Nyack was defeated by defending CACC Champions Bloomfield College.  Nyack drops to 3-15 overall, 1-11 in league play while Bloomfield moves to 11-9 overall, 9-3 in league play. 

The game was tightly contested for most of the first half.  Nyack trailed 15-12 at the 12 minute mark.  Bloomfield would go on a 7-2 run to open the lead up to 22-14 with 7:30 remaining in the 1st half.  Bloomfield remained in control and went into the half leading Nyack 37-26. 

Nyack trailed by as many as 17 points early in the second half.  Tough defense and rebounding spurred a Nyack 8-2 run that cut the game to 49-41.  That was as close as the Warriors would get in the second half as they were defeated 75-61. 

Will Robinson led all Nyack scorers with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Chris Hampton finished with 14 points and 4 rebounds.
