Men's Basketball Falls to Bloomfield 75-49
Bloomfield, NJ - The men's basketball team was defeated by Bloomfield College this evening by a score of 75-49. The loss drops the men's basketball season record to 0-2 in CACC play and 1-5 on the season.
Nyack would trail Bloomfield by one point at 11-12, 8 minutes into the contest, but the Deacons would begin a 20-8 run to take a 32-19 advantage before heading into the break up 12 at 23-35. Bloomfiled would add to their lead in the 2nd half before finishing the contest up 49-75.
Khalid Samuels and Chris Hampton would both tally double digits in scoring, with Hampton pulling down a team high 6 rebounds and Samuels dishing out a Nyack best 3 assists.
Nyack returns to action on Saturday when they travel to take on USciences.
