Men's Basketball Falls to Concordia 74-59

Nyack, NY - The men's basketball team was defeated by Concordia College this evening in a conference matchup by a score of 74-59.

Five minutes into play Nyack would hold a 12-8 lead, but the Clippers would answer with a 16-0 run to take a 24-12 lead with 8 minutes remaining in the half.  The Warriors battle their way back into the contest with a 16-8 run to end the half down 32-28.

Concordia would begin the second half with a 14-2 run to lead 46-30, with 14:30 to play in the contest.  The Clippers would keep the Warriors from coming any closer than 11 points for the remainder of the game before eventually winning by a score of 74-59.

Khalid Samuels and Chris Hampton each posted double figures in scoring in the losing effort, and Miguel Martin pulled down a game high 15 boards.  Samuels also dished out a Nyack best 7 assists.

Nyack returns to action Saturday when they play host to Philadelphia University.
