Naanma Yamsat Named to CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team

2016-17 CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM (COMPLETE LIST OF HONOREES)

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 30, 2017) -- Thirteen student-athletes on Thursday were named to the 2016-17 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.

In order to be named to the CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, recipients must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester of 2016.

Nyack College men's basketball senior Naanma Yamsat (Plateau State, Nigeria) has been one of the thirteen student-athletes who were named to the 2016-17 All-Academic Team. Yamsat holds a grade-point-average of 3.75, while majoring in Computer Science. This has been the third time Yamsat has been named to the Men's Basketball All-Academic Team.
