Men's Basketball Announces Exhibition Game Against Division I Program Penn State

Nyack, NY. – The Nyack College men's basketball team and head coach Jason Crafton are excited to announce their 2018 exhibition game against the Penn State University Nittany Lions. The game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Bryce Jordan Center.

While Nyack will be making its first-ever trip to the BJC, the sidelines will feature Nittany Lion head coach Patrick Chambers and Warrior head coach and Nyack alumnus Jason Crafton. The two head coaches served on the Villanova basketball staff together in 2005 as Chambers and Crafton helped the Wildcats to a Sweet Sixteen appearance, 24-8 record and top-25 national ranking that season.

This 2018-19 preseason exhibition game between the Nittany Lions and Warriors will be the sixth-straight vs. a Division I program for the Warriors, who have faced opponents such as Villanova, Army, Central Connecticut St., and Manhattan in the past five years.

The Nittany Lions are the current National Invitation Tournament (NIT) champions after beating Utah 88 to 66 in the Final and finished their 2016-17 season with an overall record of 26-13 and 9-9 in the Big10 conference.
