Nyack, NY. - The Nyack College men's basketball team was back for their second home game in a row to host the LIU Post Pioneers in a NCAA match on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors defeated the Pioneers with a score of 83-64 to earn their first win of the season.

- Nyack enjoyed the better start into the game with a 19-5 run with 11:36 to go in the first half
- the Warriors held off the Pioneers throughout the remainder of the half to take a 14-point lead into the break, 42-28
- Nyack continued their dominant performance in the second half increasing their lead to 20, 54-34, with 13 minutes left in the game
- the Warriors did not waver in the remainder of the second half and clinched their first win of the season with a final score of 83-64
Three Warriors scored doube digits on the day. Gemaal Davis led the Warriors with a total of 19 points with 7-11 shooting, while being perfect from the foul line. Jordan Rodriguez and Shawn Witherspoon also reached double digits with 11 and 10 points.
Men's basketball will be back in action on Tuesday at 7:30pm when they host the Felician University Golden Falcons for their first CACC match of the season.
