Men's Basketball Earns Second Straight Win with Strong Comeback Effort in the Second Half Against Felician

Nyack, NY. - The Nyack College men's basketball team opened conference play with a Tuesday night match against Felician. The Warriors struggled in the first half but flipped to switch at half time to complete a strong comeback in the second half for a 80-69 win over the Golden Falcons.

  • Nyack struggled in the first half and they fell behind by 11, 9-20, with 11:45 minutes left in the first half
  • Felician continued to dominate the Warriors throughout the first half and clinched a 14-point lead at halftime
  • the Warriors flipped the switch at halftime and turned the game around with a 28-6 run throughout the first ten minutes of the second half
  • Nyack fend off the Golden Falcons and earned their second straight win with a 80-69 victory

Key Performances
Nyack was led by Carl Balthazar with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds. Balthazar shot 7-8 from the field and 4-5 from three-point range, while adding four blocks.
