The Nyack College Men's basketabll team competed in an away conerence game against Felciian University. In a game wherre the Warriors started off slow, by the end of the game they managed to take the upper hand and steal the win with a final score of 79-73.
In the first half of the game, Felician was the first to put themselves on the scoreboard with a layup that propelled them into the game. With fourteen minutes left, Felician had taken the lead by 10 points. The Warriors worked their way up, earning the points back that they had lost. For the whole first half of the game the Warriors trailed behind Felician but managed to be only one point down by the end of the first half, with a totaled score of 37-38. Felician had an edge over the Warriors in the first half with 40% from the field and 55.6% from behind the arc, as compared to Nyack's 34.9% from the field and 37.5% from behind the arc.
The Warriors ended the first half with momentum that propelled them into the second half, earning the first shot of the half on a jump shot by Luis Escobar which put them in the lead for the first time this game. From there, the Warriors kept a hold of the lead staying a few points ahead of Felician creating a comfortable gap. With 33 seconds left in the game the Warriors had a ten point lead on Felician making it challenging for them to produce enough to come back with only seconds left. The Warriors finished the game with a win with a final score of 79-73. The Warriors had increased their field average by 10% which put them 10% ahead of Felician's field average as well aiding them in the win.
Overall the Warriors ended with 40% from the field overall, 33.3% from behind the arc, and 57.1% in free throws. Offensively, Joel Bailey led the team with 19 total points. Defensively, Michael Harrison led the team with 8 rebounds and 1 block.
