Tavien Kemp Joins Warriors Men's Basketball

Nyack, NY - Men's basketball head coach Valiant Jones is excited to announce the addition of Tavien Kemp to the 2020/21 men's basketball roster. Kemp joins the Warriors from Erie Community College. The native from Orlean, NY, averaged 18 points, three rebounds, and two assists per game, while shooting 42% from behind the arc at Erie. Kemp has been part of Erie's Region III Championship, which saw them ranked #4 in the nation with an overall record of 23-5. Furthermore, Kemp was named to the Second-Team All Region while at Erie CC. 

During his time at Archbishop Walsh Academy Kemp joined the prestigious 1,000 point club and was named the "Monsignor Martin Athletic Class B League Player of the Year" in 2017. 

Coach Jones says about Kemp, "Tavien is a very skilled player and plays the game the right way. We are extremely excited to welcome him to the Warrior Family."
