Men's Basketball Adds Four More to Round Up 20/21 Recruiting Class

New York, NY -- Nyack College men's basketball head coach Valiant Jones is proud to announce the addition of four student-athletes to round up his 2020/21 recruiting class. Marquis Copeland, Travis Cook, Tyriq Perry, and Isayas Aris will join the Warrior family starting the Fall of 2020. 

The 6'8 forward, Marquis Copeland, a native from Washington D.C., spent last season at East Los Angeles College where the Huskies finished the season with an overall record of 29-1, which ranked them second in the state of California. Copeland was also part of the Woodrow Wilson HS City Champions in 2017. 

Travis Cook is no stranger to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) as he has spent two seasons with local rivals Dominican College from 2015 to 2017. The 6'5 guard/forward from Middletown, NY averaged 10 points per game and three rebounds per game during his sophomore season with the Chargers in 2017. 
 
 
Tyriq Perry joins the Warriors from Antelope Valley College in California. The 6'7 forward is a native of San Bernardino, Ca and has averaged seven points and six rebounds per game, while shooting 48% from the field for the Marauders. 
 
 
Isayas Aris also join the Nyack family from California. Aris has spent the last season with the Renegades at Bakersfield College where he averaged 13.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game helping the team to a 16-12 record. Aris appeared in all 28 contests for the Renegades and had started in 23 of them. The 6'5 forward is a native of Chicago, IL.
