Robert Tyler enters his first season on the Warrior bench and will serve as an Assistant Coach / Director of Player Development. In this role Rob will be heavily involved in the day-to-day improvements with warrior players both on and off the court. This includes on-court instruction and spearheading academic oversight. Rob will also assist in the programs daily operations.
The former Warrior Great played two seasons at Nyack (2015-2017). As a senior he averaged 16.5 points & 4.4 rebounds per game. Tyler holds the Nyack NCAA-era single game scoring record with a 43-point outburst that occurred on December 30th, 2017 against the University of DC. Tyler graduated in 2017 with a 3.0 GPA and a degree in Business Administration.
