Marco Likos Named NCCAA East Region Player of Year
Houghton, NY - Junior Defender Felix Horn and Junior Forward Marco Likos have each been selected to the NCCAA's All East-Region team.
Likos, who hails from Leipzig, Germany was voted by the East-Region Coaches as the NCCAA East Region Player of the Year. Likos totaled a conference best 44 points in a season in which he posted 18 goals and 8 assists, including 7 game winners.
Felix Horn was also selected to the All-Region team in a season where he made the move from the midfield to defense. Horn, who was an All-America selection as a sophomore, totaled 11 points in his junior season, including 4 goals and 3 assists.
Nyack finished their 2012 campaign with an overall record of 9-9-2.
