DC Chargers OT Goal Sets Back Men's Soccer In 1-0 Loss

NYACK, NY (October 29, 2013)

In a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference home match against Dominican College, Nyack men's soccer would get edged in overtime resulting in a 1-0 loss.

The first two periods were scoreless as Warrior goal keeper Tom Lohman recorded 7 saves and Dominican tallied 2. 

DC Chargers out shot Nyack by a margin of 15-8 and led 6-1 in corner kick opportunities.

When the overtime period started Dominican's Matheus Sousa received a pass and netted a goal to seal his team the 1-0 match victory.

Chargers improve their record to 10-5-2, 8-2-1 CACC while Warriors fall 8-7-2, 5-5-1 CACC.

Men's soccer has their final match of the regular season Friday, November 1st against No. 1 in the CACC Post University.

The home contest will take place at Mosley Field at 3pm.
