The Nyack College Men's Soccer squad returned to their home territory after a road match yesterday to serve as host to Molloy College in a home non-conference opener. The Warriors fell to the Lions after a competitive 90:00 minutes by a final score of 2-1.

How It Happened:
Molloy College's Mosiash Whyte led the Lions in the first half with 2 shots on goal scoring 2 goals against the Warriors in the 30th and 33rd minutes. Warrior freshman keeper Wiktor Lasota (Lodz/Warsaw, Poland) recorded 2 saves against the Lions' 4 shots on goal.

Sophmore defender Reinaldo Sanchez (West New York, NJ) finally put the Warriors on the board during the 69th minute with a goal assisted by teammate Francois Legoedec (Etreville, France). By the end of regulation, the match concluded in favor of the Lions as they walked away with the 2-1 edge over Nyack.

Up Next:
Men's soccer is scheduled to return back to the field next week on Wednesday, September 9th at 3:30pm as they prepare to take on the University of New Haven Chargers in West Haven, CT for another non-conference game.
