Nyack Men's Soccer regressed to a 4-5-1 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference after losing to Chestnut Hill College 2-1 in overtime.  This match marked the Warriors 5th overtime finish for the 2015 season.

How It Happened:
Nyack was able to put up 9 shots, with 2 shots on goal, against the Chestnut Hill Griffins.  Freshman Finn Reese (Hamburg, Germany) led the Warriors with 3 shots against the Griffins and was joined by freshman Simon Kraemer (Wentorf, Germany) and sophomore Francois Legoedec (Etreville, France), who each put up 2 shots, providing 1 shot on goal each for the Warriors.  Kraemer would tag Nyack's sole goal for the match in the second half unassisted, earning the first point of the match.

Chestnut Hill outshot the Warriors 2:1 earning 18 shots through 93 minutes of play in contrast to Nyack's 9.  The whistle marked the beginning of play and a slow start.  Each keeper recorded 1 save, as Nyack placed 3 shots and Chestnut Hill placed 5 for the entire first half.  The Griffins placed 4 of their 5 shots within the first 25 minutes of play limiting the Warriors offensive approach.  The clock would expire after a yellow card issued to each team, with the score remaining 0-0.

The second half would not remain scoreless for long as Kraemer earned the first goal of the match with a left-footed shot from the middle of the box in the 49th minute.   The intensity of the match exponentially increased as Chestnut Hill felt the pressure to score.  The Griffins placed 11 shots in the second half alone scoring in the 75th minute.  Chestnut Hill procured two yellow cards and a red card, forcing them to enter overtime a man down as the clock ran out with the score still tied 1-1.

Overtime lasted 3 minutes and 34 seconds, allowing Nyack to place 1 shot and Chestnut Hill to place 2 shots.  The Griffins would score in the 93rd minute of play ending the game with a final score of 2-1.
