Men's Soccer falls to Caldwell in CACC Quarterfinals, 1-2

Caldwell, NJ - Nyack men's soccer dropped their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Quarterfinals match to the No. 4 seed Caldwell University, 1-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

With the loss, the Warriors end their season with a record of 8-10 on the year and 7-6 in CACC play.

After a scoreless first half Caldwell would score first in the 58th minute. Nyack would tie the game in the 83rd minute after a long throw by Finn Reese found Brandon Melendez-Ruiz to tie the game. Caldwell answered two minutes later to regain their one-goal lead and seal the victory.

Caldwell will move on to the CACC Tournament Semifinals to play No. 8 seed Post University, who defeated No. 1 seed Concordia College 2-1.
