Men's Soccer Signs Antulio R. Castillo for the 2018 Season

Nyack, NY - Antulio R. Castillo of Guatemala City, Guatemala, has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Warrior men's soccer program at Nyack College for the 2018-2019 season. The 6'0" centerback joins the Warriors from the Christian Academy of Guatemala and has played club soccer for La Academia FC (2013 - 2014), Comunicaciones FC (2015), and FCB Escola Guatemala (2017)

Antulio names his parents as major influences in his life, as they have encouraged him to seek God and to honor Him in every aspect of his life through their example. He comes to Nyack with the expectation to grow as a Christian, as a person, and as a player. Antulio will pursue a degree in Psychology and is excited to join Nyack, because of its God-centered education, the chance to play soccer, and the small, Christian community, which is the type of college he was looking for. He names former Spanish standout Carlos Puyol as his favorite athlete and Colossians 3:1-4 as his favorite Bible verses.

Men's Soccer head coach Keith Davie states,"It's been a few years since we've had a player coming out of the Christian Academy of Guatemala but I'm very excited about Antulio. He is a Nyack kind of kid, and he will excel in and off the field for us. I'm looking forward to working with him."

Welcome to the Warrior family!
