Men's Soccer Falls to Felician University at Home

Nyack, NY– The Nyack College men's soccer team returned back to Moseley Field on Tuesday afternoon when they hosted the Felician University Golden Falcons in a CACC match. 

THE BASICS:
Final: Felician 2, Nyack 1
Records: FU (4-10-1, 4-7-0 CACC), NC (1-14-1, 0-10-1 CACC)

GAME SUMMARY:
The Warriors got off to the better start into the game. It only took two minutes for Nyack to break the deadlock when Javier Fernandez sent Mitchell Reed on a 1-on-1 with the goalkeeper to score the first goal of the game. Nyack controlled most of the game and was caught off guard when the Nyack defense gave the ball away easily to allow Felician to score the game tying goal in the 37th minute. 

Felician scored again after another Nyack miscommunication in the 50th minute to take the 2-1 lead which they defended until the end. The game finished with a final score of 2-1 in favor of Felician. 

KEY PERFORMERS:
Mitchell Reed scored his fourth goal of the season.

The Warriors will be back in action on Friday when they host the Bloomfield College Bears on Friday at 3pm.
