The Nyack College Men's soccer team competed in a home conference game against Caldwell University. In a game that was a tough battle, the Warriors stayed consistent but were unable to hold off Caldwell long enough to win the game. The Warriors lost with a final score of 3-2.
In the first half of the game, the Warriors started off strong putting themselves on the scoreboard at a time of 6:21 with a goal by Noah Levitt. Caldwell managed to have two shots on goal before they found the back of the net a time of 34:05 placing them on the scoreboard with Nyack. With a total of six shots on goal for the half, the Warriors could not find the back of the net, ending the half with a tied score of 1-1.
In the second half of the game, Caldwell was the team to start off strong this time with a goal at a time of 48:19, just a few minutes into the half. At a time of 59:06, Caldwell managed to find the back of the net again causing them to gain a lead on the Warriors. As Nyack stayed consistent with six shots on goal for this half as well, Caldwell picked up their pace with eleven total shots on goal for the half forcing the Warriors to play defense majority of the time. At a time of 79:08, the Warriors found the back of the net on a goal by Samy Raymond, but it was not enough to catch up to Caldwell.
Up Next: The Nyack College men's soccer team will compete in an away conference game against Jefferson University on Thursday November 7th at 2:00PM. This will be the last conference game for the Warriors before playoffs.
