Zachary Trador Commits to Nyack Men's Cross Country and Track

Head Coach Latia Deylii and the Warriors coaching staff are excited to announce the signing of Zachary Trador, to an NCAA National Letter of Intent for Men's Cross Country and Track.

Trador, son to Kathy and Paul, has been running for the past six years while attended Indian Rocks Christian School since his elementary years. He has two sisters - one who currently plays on the women's basketball team - and attends Saint Justin Martyr Catholic Church.

Born and raised in Seminole, FL, Trador has been coached by Bobby Labrant, Eddie Morolobo, and Vern Kinsey while running cross country in the fall for the Golden Eagles and outdoor track in the spring. As a four-year varsity runner in both sports, his track events include the 1600, 800, 400, and relays.

Academically Trador was a member of the National Honors Society and has achieved Silver Honor Roll. His individual cross country/track accolades include: Varsity XC MVP (freshman and senior year), Varsity Track MVP (senior year), Shield Award (Schools most outstanding athlete [senior year]), and 4x cross country All-County Honorable Mention.

Trador has also lead his team to a cross country District Championship and 2x being Runner-up while notching 5th and 3rd place finishes at the state meet. For track IRCS has also helped secure 4th and 5th place team finishes at states.

Aside from running Trador enjoys basketball, going to concerts, and missions work as he has served in Guatemala and Costa Rica on three occasions. While at Nyack, Trador looks forward to his major in Criminal Justice. "I chose Nyack because I have the opportunity to run cross country and track at the collegiate level as well as get a Christian education" states Trador. "I expect to contribute to a conference title and improve with my running."

Coach Deylii on Trador:
"I have gotten to know Zach well through his older sister. He has an amazing family and I am so proud of how far he has come with his running. Zach is a worker-bee which has transformed him into a solid performer. I am excited at how much he will continue to surprise himself as he further develops into a top contender in our conference."
