Track and Field reaches their highest placement in Conference Championship since the start of the program.

Lakewood, NJ (5/5/19) - The Nyack Track and Field team competed this past weekend at the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held at Georgian Court University.

The Men's placed 3rd out of 13 teams and the Women placed 6th, marking the best finish for the teams since the program was started. 

The men were led by senior Zachary Trador who scored 30 points for the team winning 3 Conference titles. Trador placed first in the 10k (32:34), 3k Steeple (10:00), and the 5k (15:26). Also receiving All-Conference awards was Thomas Trott who placed 3rd in Steeple. Freshman, Josiah Cumberbatch, added to the men's score with a 5th place finish in the 100m dash (11.16) and an 8th place finish in the 200m dash (23.14).

The women were led by senior Bornes Jerono who received All-Conference honors placing 2nd in the 5k (19:50) and 4th in the 3k Steeple (12:46). Freshman, Lea Zehringer, also received All-Conference awards placing 2nd in Javelin. Sophomore,Celeste DiNardo, added to the Warriors score placing 5th place in the 3k Steeple (13:10) and to wrapping up scoring for the women were Micayla Brodish, Madeline Gonzalez, Brooklyn Mcfadden, and Hannah Simon in the 4by1 with a time of 53.67.
