For the first time in over ten years, the Nyack College Men's Cross Country team placed among the top-2 teams at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship; falling short to Wilmington University's score by just 28 points. The Warriors would improve drastically from their 10th place team finish last season at the championship. The last time men's cross country placed 2nd at a CACC Championship was during the 2004 and 2001 seasons.

How It Happened
First in for the Nyack team was Ian Mirtile (Melbourne, Australia... 4th) in a personal course record time of 28:05, Thomas Trott (16th) was the second Warrior in at 29:14, followed by Mateusz Gacik (Mysliborz, Poland... 20th) in 29:27. Rounding out the Warrior top-5 scorers was Zachary Trador (Seminole, FL... 22nd) in 29:31 and Nathaniel Dominy (Christiansburg, VA... 23rd) in 29:34. Samuel Weller (Largo, FL... 44th) Kelvin Kiprop (Iten, Kenya...45th) displaced as Nyack's 6th and 7th runners respectively.

Giancarlo Martinez from Chestnut Hill University took the individual title with a run of 27:08 over the 8-kilometer course.

At the post race awards ceremony, Warrior Mirtile was named CACC Rookie of the Year, which is presented to any first-year competitor having the best stand-out season among the conference along with the newcomer's highest finish placement at the cross country championship. In addition, Mirtile was also named for the first time in his career to the 2015 All-Conference Team having placed among the top-15 individual finishers.
