Men's Cross Country finishes 3rd at CACC Championship

Philadelphia, PA - The Nyack Men's Cross Country team ran through gusty winds to secure a 3rd place finish out of 13 conference teams at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship. Wilmington University won the team championship for the second year in a row, followed by Bloomfield and Nyack College.

Senior Thomas Trott, was Nyack's first runner through the finish with a time of 28:59 beating his previous Belmont course record of 29:14. Trott came in 16th overall in the field of 86. Coming in next for the Warriors was sophomore Zach Trador with a time of 29:06, sophomore Joseph Girard with a time of 29:17, senior Mateusz Gacik with a time of 29:34 and sophomore Kelvin Kiprop with a time of 31:55. Danson Kirwa closed out scoring for the Warriors with a time of 32:17

Nyack will compete next in two weeks on Saturday, November 5th, for the NCAA East Regional Championship at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton N.H.
