Men's Cross Country Welcomes Arthur Scrima

Nyack, NY - Arthur Scrima of Westtown, NY, has signed a National Letter of Intent to run for the Warriors at Nyack College for the 2017-2018 season. The 6'0" distance runner was a tri-athlete at Minisink Valley High School, competing in Cross Country, Baseball, and Swimming. During his High School career Scrima finished as one of the top seven runners of the program every year.

Head Coach Derival says about Arthur, "I am excited for Arthur and the enthusiasm he has coming into the program. I am confident that he will be a great fit for our program."

Arthur names his mother, a breast cancer survivor, as his major influence in his journey who taught him how to fight anything in life. Scrima states that he chose Nyack, because of its diversity and the strong Christian atmosphere and that he will pursue a degree in Business Administration and Management. He comes to Nyack with the goal to be the best Christian athlete, while making an impact for God's kingdom. He names Tim Tebow as his favorite athlete and Mark 9:23 as his favorite Bible verse.

Welcome to the Warrior family!
