Softball Drop Both Games On The Road To Bridgeport

ORANGEBURG, NY - The Nyack Warriors faced Bridgeport in an out-of-conference face-off in Connecticut by scores of 8-0 and 8-3.

The Basics:

Inside The Game:
The first game was played for six innings and was pitched by Kim Yano, who gave up 12 hits and 8 runs. The Warriors defense only had 1 error, but the Bridgeport offense was tough to stop. On the Nyack offense side, Tori Flemming hit a double down the right field line and Elaina Vasquez hit a single to left center. The Warriors lost 8-0 in six innings.

The second game was pitched by Christine Kline, who gave up 8 hits and 6 runs. She was replaced by Tori Flemming in the bottom of the 3rd inning with 1 out. The Warriors had better offense this game, putting a lot of runners out on the bases. Meghan Richards and Christine Kline each had a single and double in the game. Tori Flemming and Anna Bailey Shuman also had singles.
