ORANGEBURG, NY - The Nyack College Softball team hosted Felician College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest at the South Orangetown Field. The Warriors played two great games against their opponents but in the end, fell in both games by scores of 7-3, 5-2.

Inside The Game:
The first game was lost 7-3. The Warriors jumped on top 2-0 in the bottom of the 1st inning. Christine Kline first got on base from a long hit to center, and an error by their centerfielder. Meghan Richards then hit a single which drove Kline in. Also in the inning, Elaina Vasquez singled, scoring Richards. Other hits in the game were had by Elyanna Rivas, Kline, and two more hits by Richards. Felician scored their 7 runs on 6 hits and walks.
The second game was also a close game, but was lost 5-2. Felician came out swinging, scoring two runs in the top of the 1st inning. Nyack answered with one run in the bottom of the 1st, with Warrior Richards scoring the run from singles from Tori Flemming, Vasquez, and Tesla Murillo. Other hits were had by Kathleen McClain with a triple, Warrior Vasquez with an RBI double, and Kelsey Lyons, Kim Yano, and Kline with singles. Felician scored their other runs from 7 hits.
Warrior Softball take the field again on April 24th, 25th, and 26th as they host their last three games of the season against Mercy College, STAC, and Georgian Court University. See full game schedule here.
