    The 2015 season was one of the best seasons that Nyack Softball has seen in quite a few years. They finished 12th in the conference, ending the year with a conference record of 8-18 and an overall record of 11-32. While the record and standing don't do the Warriors justice, this Warrior program has taken a big step in the right direction.

    The Nyack College Department of Athletics hosted its annual awards celebration on Sunday evening, April 26th at the institution's Boon Campus Center. Individuals from all 11 varsity teams were honored by their respective coaches.
  • Warrior Softball Picks up 3-1 Win Over Georgian Court in CACC Nightcap

    The Nyack College Softball team traveled to face Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader. Nyack notched another league game split win over the Lions in game one with a tough loss (5-3) followed by a triumphing victory in game two, as the Warriors picked up the 3-1 win to conclude the afternoon.
  • Softball Splits Twinbill with Mercy, 13-9, 12-2
    April 24, 2015
    Warrior Softball split a doubleheader played on the road against Mercy College where Nyack captured the win in game one by a final score of 13-9. The Mavericks would fight back in game two to take home the 12-2 win in five innings.
  • Softball Ends Last Home Doubleheader with Victories Over USciences 6-1, 5-4

    The second sweep of the season came today for the Warriors, advancing them to 7 wins in conference. The Warriors offense collected 17 hits for the day scoring 10 runs. The pitching was phenomenal allowing 1 ER on the day.
  • Softball Topped by Visiting NYIT 2-1, 8-0
    April 22, 2015
    Warrior softball dropped a pair of games in a non-conference match against the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). The first game would be a close one as the Warriors would be edge out 2-1. NYIT would shut out Nyack five innings to seal the nightcap by a final score of 8-0.
  • Warrior Softball Sweeps Goldey-Beacom in CACC Action 2-1, 4-1

    The Nyack Warriors softball team earned a sweep of visiting Goldey-Beacom College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. Nyack would take a 2-1 win in the first game and then followed with a 4-1 victory in during the second game at the South Orangetown Little League Softball Field.

    The Nyack College softball team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponents from Concordia College where the Warriors would drop a pair of games on Clipper Softball field.

    The Nyack College softball team suffered a tough loss to Domnican College, who swept the Warriors in five innings by final scores of 11-0 and 9-0.
  • Softball Suffers Road Loss with 5-4 and 4-1 Defeats to Holy Family

    The Nyack Warriors softball team opened up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play for another road contest that featured a pair of games at Holy Family University. Nyack would fall in their first game, 5-4, and then dropped a 4-1 decision in game two against the Tigers.

    The Warrior Softball team served as host to Post university in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader. Nyack notched another league win over the Eagles in game one (4-2) followed by a tough loss in game two, as the Warriors fell to Post 2-0.

    The Warrior Softball team ended the day with a split to Chestnut Hill to start a game filled week. Not only did the Warriors split with the Griffins, they surpassed last year's wins record.

    Junior Kim Yana ended the day with her first conference win at Nyack College. Pitching a complete game allowing only one run with 6 strike outs. Yano pitched her way out of a tough sixth inning with bases loaded only allowing one run.

    Richards is currently featured in the CACC's Top-10 Individual Offense Leaders ranking 8th in the conference for her batting average and 9th for home runs.

    Warrior Softball wrapped up their final day at the Tucson Invitational Games by splitting their doubleheader with a 4-0 sweep over Dordt College followed by a tough 12-2 setback to Olivet Nazerene University.

    In the opener, Nyack would edge out opponents from Valley City State University 4-3 as Coach Kurt Ludwigsen notches his first win as head coach for the Warriors. In the second game against Alfted University, the Saxons would shutout Nyack by a final score of 4-0.

    Warrior Softball dropped a pair of games Tuesday afternoon during day three of the Tucson Invitational Games. Doane College won game one 3-1 followed by Presentation College, who captured game two against Nyack by a final score of 7-4.
