Nyack Softball Falls to Post University

The Nyack Warriors Softball team lost in an away conference double header against the Post University Eagles. The score of the first game was 6-3 and the score of the second game was 20-1 ending in 5 innings.

Game 1:

Post was the first on the scoreboard in the second inning when they doubled to left center receiving 2 RBI. The Warriors had a slow start but put themselves on the scoreboard in the 4th inning when Morgan Hans doubled to left center bringing home Janelle Adams. In the 6th and 7th inning the Warriors managed to score 2 more runs but still fll short ending the game 6-3.

Game 2:

Post started off strong scoring their first run in the first inning on single RBI. It wasn't until the bottom of the fifth inning that the Warriors scored thier first run when Alissa Brugnoli reached first base on a fielder's choice bringing Kayleigh Vandover home. The game ended in 5 innings with a total score of 20-1.
