Women's Basketball Topped by Phila U 56-78

Nyack, NY - A strong second half by Philadelphia pushed the Lady Rams past Nyack in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game this afternoon in Bowman Gym.

Nyack would jump ahead to an early 6-2 lead in the first few minutes of play, and the two teams would play a back and forth first half before entering the break tied at 26-26. 

Philadelphia would open the 2nd half with a 21-5 run to take a commanding 47-31 lead and would keep the Warriors at arm's length the remainder of the game before winning 78-56.

Khamari Tellis would tally a team best 14 points in the losing effort and also pulled down 11 rebounds.  Aika Emmanuel and Natalie Harrison each dished out 5 assists.

Nyack returns to action after the new year, when they travel to Florida to participate in the Southeastern tournament on January 3rd.
