NYACK, NY – After falling behind by 17 points at the half, the Nyack College women's basketball team mounted a furious comeback that saw them within four (40-36) with about 10 minutes to play, but Chestnut Hill pulled away in the closing minutes en route to handing the Warriors' their second straight loss, 66-50, on Saturday afternoon.

A Closer Look
- Nyack was held to shooting 27.4 percent from the floor but successfully converted 12-of-14 (85.7 percent) from the charity strip. Chestnut Hill shot 44.9 percent from the field and 68.0 percent from the line.
- The Griffins recorded eight second chance points and twenty-three bench points compared to Nyack's six second chance points and 18 bench points.
- Nyack's defence forced more Griffin turnovers, but Chestnut Hill won the rebounding battle 42-36.
- The Warriors also won the battle in the paint, 22-18, while posting four fast break points.
The Warriors return to action on Tuesday February 11th as they host Concordia College at Bowman Gymnasium. The CACC match-up is slated for a 6PM start.
