NYACK, NY - Despite being down by as many as nine points in the second half, Nyack's comeback effort would not be enough as the team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to visiting Concordia College by a final score of 68-65.

Freshman guard Kelli Smoot (Baltimore, MD) nailed a three pointer during the final moments of the first half to bring the Warriors into the locker room trailing by just three points (43-40). Nyack shot an impressive 88.9 percent (8-of-9) from behind-the arc and limited the Clippers to 50 percent (5-of-10) in the first half. Tori Trador (Seminole, FL) led with 9 points in the half all coming from three-pointers.

Both teams recorded 25 points in the second half. Nyack used an 8-0 run at 9:07 to get within one point with a little under four minutes left in regulation (57-56). That was the closest Nyack would get as Concordia kept the Warriors at bay, en route to the 68-65 defeat.

Four Warriors would net double figures as Raven Makins (Laurel, MD) and Trador led with 12 points to go along with Makins' eight rebounds and Trador's six rebounds. Smoot shot 4-of-8 from the field to contribute with 11 points and Warrior freshman Alyssa Gatti (Brooklyn, NY) caught fire with a season-high on the night as the guard tallied 10 points while dishing four assists respectively.

With the loss the Warriors (1-11) drop to 1-5 on the season in league play and the Clippers (3-9) improve to 3-3.
Jessica Rosalbo led Concordia with 18 points on shooting 7-of-13 from the field in addition to converting 4-of-6 from the charity stripe. Clipper Hadiyah Black just missed a double-double as the forward snatch down 10 boards and recorded 9 points.
