NYACK, NY - The Nyack College women's basketball team served as host to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponents from Felician College on Tuesday evening.

A slow Warrior first half allowed the Falcons to come out on top by the end of regulation, 68-50, to split the season series 1-1 as Nyack was unable to notch their second league win on the season.

With the loss Nyack slips to 1-13 (1-7 CACC) as Felician improves 3-13 (2-7 CACC).

Nyack trailed by fifteen points going into the locker room break (34-19) and would come back stronger in the second half slightly outshooting their opponents by a margin of 31.4 percent to 30.3 percent. Both teams also shot over 70 percent from the free throw line.

Overall, Felician would still outscore the Warriors by just three points (34-31) in the second half which eventually led to the 68-50 victory over the Warriors.

Junior Jaimie McKeither (Laurel, MD) registered a team-best 13 points while Warrior teammate Alyssa Gatti (Brooklyn, NY) chipped in with 10 points while tying with Warrior Raven Makins (Laurel, MD) for dishing a team-best four assists. 

On the Felician side, three Falcons net double figures on the night which include Elaina Scanlon's game-high 20 points along with Ashley Morris and Shyla Osmond's double-double as both ladies tallied 19 points and eleven rebounds respectively. Mary Chisholm led overall recording a game-high fifteen rebounds.

As a team, Felician outrebounded Nyack 56-41 while offensively, the Warriors dished more assists (13) compared to Felician's 10 assists. Both teams were fairly even with getting inside as Felician recorded 22 points in the paint while Nyack registered 20 points in the paint.  

Nyack recorded eight fastbreak points as the team didn't allow for any Falcon fastbreaks and the Warrior bench held strong, recording 21 points compared to Felician's bench who was unable to contribute to the scoring with a combined 22 minutes of action.
