Women's Hoops Conclude Season with 78-51 Defeat by Dominican

NYACK, NY - Nyack College women's hoops concluded their season on Tuesday evening with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division foe matchup against Dominican College.

The Warriors were unable to secure a win in their last game of the year as the DC Chargers took a 78-51 victory at Bowman Gymnasium.

How It Happened:
The Chargers outscored Nyack 45-30 in the first half by shooting 45.7-percent from the field compared to the Warriors who shot 32.4-percent. Lisa Bouffard led at the halftime break with a game-high 14 points for Dominican while teammate Lashonds Hathorne registered 10 points.

The second half would feature more of the same as Nyack struggled to trim the deficit. By 8:06 Dominican rallied to their largest lead on the evening (72-38) and by the end of regulation, earned their way to a 78-51 victory over Nyack.

Warrior Lindsey Williams (Columbia, MD) led with a team-high 11 points while teammate Tori Trador (Seminole, FL) chipped in with 9 points. Jamie McKeither (Laurel, MD) yanked eight rebounds for Nyack. Five Chargers would score in double-figures as Bouffard recorded a game-high 18 points on shooting 6-of-11 from the floor while converting 6-for-8 from behind the charity stripe.
