Nyack, NY – The Nyack College women's basketball team was upended by the Bloomfield College Bears on Wednesday night in a CACC match played at Bowman Gym. The loss drops the Warriors' record to 3-13, 2-8 CACC, while Chestnut Hill improves to 11-6, 8-1 CACC.
Bloomfield enjoyed the better start into the game with a 8-0 run during the first two minutes. They would continue to add on to their lead extending it to ten points at the end of the first quarter, 24-14. The second quarter saw Bloomfield earning a 23-point lead with a score of 46-23 at halftime.The third quarter saw the Warriors cutting the Bears' lead down to 20, 60-40. The game would eventually finish with a score of 73-56 in favor of the Bears
The Warriors will be back in action next Tuesday when they travel to Post University for a CACC match at 5:30pm.
