Rutherford, NJ - The Nyack College women's basketball team was back in action on Wednesday night when they traveled to New Jersey to square off with the Felician University Golden Falcons in another CACC North Division match up. Nyack came up short in a game that finished with a final score of 61-72.

Game Summary:

  • Felician enjoyed the better start with a 8-2 run and finished the first quarter with a 16-7 advantage over the Warriors
  • Nyack fought its way back into the game in the second quarter outscoring Felician 18-12 and trailing the Golden Falcons by three
  • Nyack started off well in the third and took its first lead of the game, but Felician would push back and outscore the Warriors 24-15
  • the Warriors trailed by 12 going into the final quarter and despite a strong fourth quarter effort Nyack was kept at bay by Felician and the game finished with a final score of 61-72

Key Performances:
Kyla Given recorded another double-double with a game-high 22 points and ten rebounds. Janae Bailey also reached a double-double with ten points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

Up Next:
Nyack will host the Goldey-Beacom College Lightning on Saturday at 1pm. The game will be part of the CACC's mental health awareness week and will be a "green out" game.
