The Nyack College women's basketball team faced off in an away conference game against Goldey-Beacom. In a game where the opposing team was more consistent in their statistics, the Warriors were unable to produce anything promising enough to secure the win for their record, losing with a final score of 55-84.
In the first quarter of the game, the Warriors had the best statistics of the game, helping them keep up with Goldey-Beacom. At the end of the first quarter the Warriors were still in the game, down by only a few shots. The totaled score was 18-25. In the second quarter of the game, the Warriors found themselves down by twelve points. The opposing team continued to build on their score throughout the rest of this quarter only increasing the point gap for the Warriors. At the end of the second quarter the score was 29-44. In the third quarter of the game, the Warriors fell behind having a 0% in their three-point statistic as compared to the Lightning's 57.1%. With one minute left in the quarter, the Warriors found themselves thirty points behind. Only having scored 12 total points in the third quarter, the score totaled out at 41-69. In the fourth quarter of the game, the Warriors found themselves having to fight for every point to try and bridge the gap of points and catch up. Although the Warriors challenged themselves, they were unable to pull through and lost the game.
Overall, the Warriors were 30.5% from the field, 33.3% from behind the arc, and 73.7% in free throws. Offensively Chi-La Bady scored 11 total points for their Warriors. Defensively, Casiris Ruiz had 3 defensive rebounds and one steal.
