Lebo Scores 100th Career Goal in First Game of Her Junior Year

Nyack Warrior, Lauren Lebo (West Simsbury, CT), scored the 100th goal of her college lacrosse career this past Saturday against American International College (AIC), where the Warriors fell by just one point (17-16).

"To accomplish 100 career goals by the first game of your Junior year (scoring 72 of those goals last season alone) is inspiring. Lauren's hard work has paid off and will continue to pay off. I feel blessed to be her coach and look forward seeing the many more accomplishments she will achieve on the field and in the world at large," says Head Coach, Anne Reis.

Lebo (team co-captain) finished last season ranked sixth place for total goals in Division II (72). But that is not where she stops -- she also finished last season second place in DII for goals per game (avg. 4.24), fourth for draw controls (105 overall, 6.18 avg/game), and she was named to the CACC All-Academic Team for the 2014 spring athletic season with a 4.0 GPA.

Ending the first game of her junior year at 102 career goals, Lebo is already proving that the many hours of hard work, dedication, and rigorous training she has been putting in are paying off.
