Warrior Walborn Featured on CACC Weekly Report



The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced it's first of weekly awards on Monday and Nyack College Junior midfielder, Karly Walborn (Nyack, NY), was amongst the weekly honorees.

Walborn was selected amongst other players from the 14 colleges/universities that make up the conference who took part in games during the previous week. Shee was given an Honorable Mention for her season oppening performances last week against American International College.

Warrior Walborn put forth an exceptional defensive effort recording a game-best, 8 cause turnovers while scooping a game-high 7 ground balls and won 5 draw controls in the 17-16 losing effort to NE-10 opponents from AIC. In addition, Warrior Walborn also chipped in with 2 goals in the thrilling season opener. Walborn is currently ranked at No. 1 in the NCAA Div. II national ranking for the most cause turnovers (8.00) and is tied at No. 3 in the nation for ground balls (7.00) this opening week.

Walborn is currently featured in the CACC's Top-10 Individual Offense Leaders ranking at 10th in the conference for the category of goals scored per game.
