Warrior newcomer, Victoria Silvers, a freshman from Long Island, NY has been recognized for the second time in three weeks as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.
The announcement was released today by the league office for the reporting period ending Sunday, March 15, 2015
In a 2-1 week during Spring break play, freshman Silvers has netted 11 goals which includes her shooting at 100.0 in the tough 10-9 loss to West Va. Wesleyan. Her re-defend has been strong coming up with 5 cause turnovers to go along with 6 ground balls in the past three games last week.
Silvers is currently featured in the CACC's Top-10 Individual Offense Leaders improving to a 3rd place rank in the conference for the category of goals scored per game (fifteen), ranked 5th in the most assist dealt per game (five), 4th in shots taken per game (thirty), and ranked 4th with the most points on the season (twenty).
