The Nyack College women's lacrosse program is proud to announce the signing of Abby Wilmot to a National Letter of Intent.
Wilmot has experience with being a part of a building lacrosse team. She began playing lacrosse in Western Maryland in 2006. Abby has been the Chambersburg girls lacrosse team captain since her sophomore season, which was the program's inaugural season.
Wilmot has earned 2nd team and honorable mention in the 11-team Mid-Penn Conference during her first two seasons. She played club lacrosse with Black Dog Legacy in 2014. She has played midfield and attack, but most recently midfield. Wilmot also earned two varsity letters in field hockey.
She is the daughter of Tim and Jean Wilmot. Abby has two older brothers, Joe Wilmot and Steve Wilmot. Joe Wilmot is the head lacrosse coach of Houghton College men's lacrosse team. Steve Wilmot coaches high school lacrosse. Wilmot will plan on majoring in Criminal Justice at Nyack College.
