  • Lauren Lebo named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse D2 Scholar-athlete of the Year

    Lauren Lebo, a senior Nursing student at Nyack College, has been named the 2016 IWLCA Division II Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Lebo's 3.80 GPA landed her on the Dean's list at Nyack, where she also was inducted into the Alpha Chi honor society and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing honor society. She won the American Nursing Association (ANA) Future Nurse Leader Award and also the Drs. Ardel and Teresa Veitti Award for Academic Excellence in Nursing. Lebo graduated at the top of her nursing class and is one of only two athletes at the school to graduate from the rigorous nursing program while competing as a varsity athlete.
  • Lauren Lebo's 4-Years Sets Foundation for Nyack College Lacrosse

    When you think Nyack College Women’s Lacrosse, it is not surprising that 4-year Captain Lauren Lebo comes to mind. Not only has Lauren left her mark on this program and school, she has left her mark on the conference and nationally during her time at Nyack. She and fellow Captain Victoria Lopez-Nash were the first two students in school history to play a sport for four years and graduate from the Nursing program. Lauren did so at the top of her Nursing class and was awarded academic honors including the Drs. Ardel and Teresa Vietti Award for Academic Excellence in Nursing and the American Nurses Association Award. Outside the classroom, Lauren also made a name for herself on the Lacrosse field.
  • Warriors Lacrosse Face the Knights of Queens College

    Nyack Lacrosse travelled to Queens, NY to take on the Queens College (N.Y.) Knights in a non-conference match at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016. The Warriors fought valiantly against the Knights, unfortunately, they were unable to match the offense of Queens.
  • Lacrosse Faces Colorado Mesa on Final Day of Spring Training

    Nyack Lacrosse took on Colorado Mesa as the final part of their Spring Training trip on Wednesday, March 9th. The non-conference match in Colorado demonstrated incredible resilience through the entire minutes of play. The Warriors, despite managing to maintain the tempo of the game set by Colorado Mesa, were unable to overcome their opponent.
  • Walborn Nets 100th Goal in Warriors First Win

    Nyack Lacrosse took on Adams State University as part of their Spring Training excursion in Colorado on Monday, March 7th at 3pm. The Warriors stormed their way to a 14-6 victory over Adams State through an impressive offensive line and incredible defensive effort.
  • Warrior Lacrosse Drops Match to LIU

    Nyack travelled to face LIU Post in a non-conference match on Tuesday, March 1st. The Warriors suffered a scoreless game at the hands of LIU, dropping the game 21-0.
  • Karis Walborn Earns CACC Recognition

    Senior Karis Walborn was named to the CACC Weekly Report for her efforts in the Warriors season opener against American International College.
  • Warrior Lacrosse Opens 2016 Season Against AIC Yellow Jackets

    Through 60 minutes of challenging play, the Warriors were unable to overcome the visiting Yellow Jackets aggressive offense. The match concluded in favor of AIC with a final score of 26-9.
