Women's soccer drops road match to Roberts Wesleyan, 1-5

Rochester, NY - The Nyack women's soccer team was defeated by Roberts Wesleyan in their last regular season game. The score after 90 minutes was 1-5 in favor of the Redhawks.

Roberts Wesleyan scored twice in the first half to gain a 2-0 halftime lead. The Redhawks outshot the Warriors by a margin of 14-2, while Julianna Kranes recorded four saves in the first 45 minutes.

Roberts Wesleyan would add three more goals in the second half. Lexis Evans would score the lone goal for the warriors in the 77th minute. Tauntyonah Marie-Guinter's shot hit the cross bar and Evans pushed the rebound over the line. The game finished with a score of 5-1. 

The Redhawks outshot Nyack 31-5, while Kranes added another five saves in the second period.

The Warriors will return to action this upcoming Monday, when they will play in the CACC quarterfinal. The opppenent is yet to be determined. Kick off is slated for 2:00pm
