Women's Soccer falls to Caldwell 1-3 in CACC Quarterfinals

Caldwell, NJ - Nyack women's soccer faced difficulties finding their rhythm in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Quarterfinals resulting in the 3-1 loss to No. 2 seed, Caldwell University on Monday afternoon.

With the loss, the Lady Warriors end their season with a record of 6-12 on the year and 6-7 in CACC play.

Caldwell would score twice in the first half to gain a 2-0 halftime lead. Both teams recorded five shots during the first 45 minutes. The Warriors came into the second half determined to fight back and scored in the 51st minute. The goal was scored by freshman Gianna Perri. Caldwell would score its third goal of the day in the 63rd minute to seal the 3-1 victory.

Caldwell will move on to the CACC Tournament Semifinals to play No. 6 seed Holy Family University, who defeated No. 3 seed Goldey-Beacom College 3-2.
