NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 15, 2016) -- Sixty-five (66) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, as annouced by Commissioner Dan Mara.
In order to be named to the CACC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, recipients be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through the spring or summer semester of 2016.
Five Warriors earned a spot on this years All-Academic Team list. Senior Katherine Oldfield was named to the All-Academic Team for the third time with an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.68. Juniors Rebekah Lawler and Jordan Jansen have received the honor for the second time in their collegeiate career. Lawler achieved a GPA of 3.67, while Jansen earned a 3.77 overall grade point average. Karla Dominguez and Vanessa Séfriou received All-Aacadmeic accolades for the first time with an overall GPA of 3.59.
