Women's Soccer Upended by St. Anselm

Manchester, NH - The Nyack Women's Soccer team continued their regular season play on Melucci Field against Saint Anselm on Tuesday afternoon The Warriors struggled to fight back in a 0-5 loss to the Hawk's. 

Saint Anselm quickly got on the score board at 17:17. Delaney Bartol had an assist from Nicole White to gain a 1-0 lead. The Warriors managed to hold St. Anselm off until Hawk's Corey Murray scored her first goal on the season. Jessica Kaufman also joined in to score her first of the season. Freshmen Greta Enloe contributed to the Warrior defense with two saves in the first half. 
 
In period two of the game, the Hawk's Corey Murray would find herself with two goals under her belt to bring the score to (0-5) Saint Anselm. Freshman goalkeeper Greta Enloe added three more saves in the second half. 
 
Head Coach Jodel Wright states, "We have areas to improve in our game. It's important that we trust the process and continue to seek improvement."
 
The Warriors continue their season on the road to LIU Post on Thursday, September 7th at 4pm.
